The island is 110 miles long with one road down it. Which airport you fly into matters more than anything else you decide — and you will need a car, because there is no other way to move.
Harbour Island and Spanish Wells (both by water taxi), Gregory Town, the Glass Window, Preacher's Cave
This is the one nearly everybody wants. Harbour Island is a five-minute water taxi from Three Island Dock, then a golf cart.
Governor's Harbour, French Leave, Banks Road, Palmetto Point
Central. If you are staying mid-island this saves you an hour each way over landing at either end.
Rock Sound, Cotton Bay, Lighthouse Beach, Bannerman Town
For the south end and Lighthouse Beach. Landing at North Eleuthera instead is a two-hour drive.
